IV Kit

The intravenous access kit, stores equipment necessary for inserting an intravenous catheter, most often used to deliver medications or fluids to a patient during emergencies. These supplies are also stored in the "First In" bag and in the compartments in the ambulance. In the state of New Hampshire only EMT-Intermediates and EMT-Paramedics can start IV's and administer medications intravenous.
